Join us as an Camp Manager, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience in a stunning lodge environment!
Key Performance Areas:
As the Camp Manager, you will work closely with the Assistant or Lodge Manager to support the daily operations of the lodge. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting housekeeping checks to meet set standards.
- Supervising restaurant operations during meal times to ensure top-notch service.
- Ensuring meal quality before they leave the kitchen.
- Managing guest check-ins and check-outs, fulfilling requests, and ensuring their needs are met throughout their stay.
- Liaising with the hospitality manager and reservations team to report any anomalies and suggest improvements.
- Completing stock counts and preparing weekly and monthly reports.
Minimum Criteria Required:
- Qualification: Hotel Management Diploma/Certificate or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Front of House or a similar position at a 4/5-star establishment.
Competencies Required:
- Well-spoken and presentable with excellent customer focus.
- Proficient in MS Office (intermediate Excel); knowledge of LIGHTSPEED and PROTEL is advantageous.
- Strong guest relations skills with knowledge of hosting/butler services.
- A valid driver’s license is essential.
- A keen eye for detail and common sense, along with good knowledge of food and beverage service, housekeeping, and front office operations.
